Portrait of the artist, PATRICE BORGESON.
Bosley was and still is one of the favorites of the Boston School of Art. He studied with Benson and Tarbell. Portrait in Kimono was painted while Bosley was painting instructor at the Boston Museum School, a postion he maintained for almost 20 years. He was married to Emily Sohier. Paintings by Bosley are rare and seldom appear on the market. Housed in a period Thulin arts and crafts frame.
