Peter Clarke, DBA as Clarke Gallery, has been buying and selling fine art for over a quarter of a century.
He has maintained art galleries in Philadelphia, Boston and now, here in Newburyport, Ma.
Prior to opening Clarke Gallery/Newburyport, Peter was co-founder of Richardson-Clarke Gallery in Boston where with his partner, established themselves as successful purveyors of fine art to museums, corporations, and private investors.
The gallery handles art objects from the Hudson River period of American art, American Impressionism, modern and abstract art. There is also a strong representation of African American works of art.
Clarke Gallery participates in a number of important art fairs across the country including, USArtists, Philadelphia, The Palm Beach Show, and the Boston International Fine Art Show. |
